Morten Kjølby will serve as the Hockey Director and U18 Head Coach, and brings with him a strong hockey background from his various roles across the world. Morten served as Head Coach for Odense U17 and U20 in Denmark, Sollefteå HK J18 in Sweden, Club Hielo Jaca in Spain, as well as working with the Danish, Chinese and Hong Kong National Development teams. Morten has spent time in North America with the Summerland Steam of the KIJHL and Cold Lake Aeros of the CAJHL. This wide ranging experience helps Morten bring a strong understanding of different strategies across the globe, that he has used to help develop several players who have had success professionally in North America and abroad, including the NHL.

Mike Bryan brings over 10 years of experience as a goaltending coach, working with minor hockey, junior, and professional players through No Excuse Goaltending. He is passionate about developing confident, technically sound goaltenders by creating a positive, challenging, and supportive learning environment.
In addition to his work as Goalie coach Mike has extensive coaching experience in minor hockey and has also served as a Assistant coach with Fleming College. His commitment to player development, attention to detail, and ability to build strong relationships with athletes to help them with reaching their full potential both on and off the ice.

Dan is the U18 Assistant Coach, bringing with him a strong hockey background. Dan won a National University Championship as a player and coach at the University of Nottingham. While playing in Nottingham, Dan led all defensemen in points during their championship season. Dan played minor hockey in Peterborough, and went to the Canadian Hockey Skills Academy in Norwood. Dan played his junior hockey for Powassan in Northern Ontario. Dan played hockey for the Shelburne Muskies and Creemore Coyotes in the Ontario Elite Hockey League. Dan currently plays for the Tweed Oil Kings in the Northern Premier Hockey League. Away from hockey, Dan is a qualified lawyer in the province of Ontario as well as a faculty member at Trent University. Dan has taught at law schools in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Josh Gillam, Founder and Owner of HYBRID, will serve as the Director of Sports Performance for CHE Academy. A Peterborough native, Josh grew up competing in AAA hockey and lacrosse before earning a full athletic scholarship to Dartmouth College, and Ivy League NCAA Division 1 Institution, where he competed in both sports. His athletic background combined with heard of experience working alongside elite coaches, professional trainers, and performance specialists across North America and Europe, has established him as a respected sports performance professional in the region.

Drawing on a lifetime of competitive sports experience, Mike helps athletes develop the confidence, resilience, mental toughness, and daily habits needed to perform consistently.

Alyssa is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner with a Master of Science and she brings a modern, athlete-focused approach to performance nutrition, wellness and healthy living. Through her platform vibrant self health, she has helped individuals build sustainable habits that fuel both performance and everyday life. Her role is beyond nutrition plans. She will be supporting athletes and billet families with meal prep guidance, grocery purchasing strategies, nutritional coaching, education and help players perform at their highest level.

Felicia Pennanen is a Registered Massage Therapist and Athletic Trainer who works full-time at Thrive Health PTBO. A graduate of Bryan College, she completed outreach placements working with athletes from the NHL, OHL, Team Canada, Major League Baseball (MLB) and Cirque du Soleil, gaining valuable experience in sports injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. A lifelong hockey player, Felicia began as a defencemen before transitioning to goaltender. Her experience in both athlete and healthcare gives her a strong understanding of injury prevention.

Born and raised in Peterborough, Chad Cavanagh has had a long career in hockey, as a player, coach and instructor. Originally selected by the London Knights of the 1995, Chad had a successful OHL career amassing over 200 total points, and leading the 1999 Soo Greyhounds in scoring. Chad went to University with the Acadia Axemen, leading the team in goals in each of his 4 seasons. Selected by the Washington Capitals in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft, Chad played over 200 games professionally with over 150 points, before returning home, where he has worked with Canadian Hockey Enterprises for over 20 years.

Jim Bedard is one of hockey’s most respected goalie coaches. A former NHL goaltender and longtime NHL goalie coach with the Detroit Red Wings, Jim helped develop elite netminders like Dominik Hasek, Chris Osgood, Jimmy Howard and Jake Oettinger while helping to lead the Red Wings to multiple Stanley Cups. His experience and expertise provide our goalies with a rare opportunity to learn from one of the very best.
